Catching More Than Fish: Organizations take underserved youth to sea
While many underserved Los Angeles students live near the beach, few rarely reach it, and most have never been on a fishing trip at sea.
This summer, the Los Angeles Marine Protected Area Collaborative is partnering with the Los Angeles Rod and Reel Club and the Marina del Rey Anglers to host 11 youth fishing trips to stoke excitement surrounding the sport and conservation.
