Thank you to all who were able to join us in person on March 14 in Monterey, CA for an MPA Collaborative Network Statewide Forum co-hosted with the California Marine Sanctuary Foundation. For those who couldn’t make it, you were greatly missed and we hope to see you at the next one!
The day featured a whirlwind tour of recent projects completed by collaboratives, updates on an MPA signage improvement project, engagement activities, enlightening discussions, and relationship building across county lines and sectors.

Next Steps
  • If you would like to join your local MPA Collaborative to continue being involved in MPA stewardship discussions and projects with others in your community, please sign up for their mailing list on their respective webpages.
  • The California Marine Sanctuary Foundation will release a detailed MPA signage evaluation report in late April with an associated webinar to follow in May. More information to follow once available.
  • If you are a Tribal partner who attended and did not receive a Reciprocity Request Form from Jamie, please reach out to jamie@mpacollaborative.org so we can extend our gratitude for your time, energy, and knowledge invested into the MPA Collaborative Network Statewide Forum.
