A place to discuss, share information and resources related to the oil spill that was first reported on Saturday, October 2, 2021, that originated from a pipeline off the coast of Huntington Beach connected to an offshore oil platform known as Elly.

The Unified Command is hosting a press conference at 2:00pm today. We appreciate your flexibility with the timing, as we may need adjust due to Unified Command’s availability. We will forward you any additional information we receive on that.
The press conference will be held at the Huntington Beach Lifeguard Station at 103 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach 92648. They will live stream the press conference at the USCG LA Facebook page.
